Services:


Goldfield Utilities

Community water distribution system operation and maintenance (groundwater wells, booster pump stations, water transmission line, water storage tanks, water mains, service connections, and fire hydrants).

Community water distribution system arsenic treatment facility operation and maintenance.

Community sanitary sewer collection and treatment system operation and maintenance (service connections, sewer mains, manholes, and the sewage treatment plant facility).

Monthly water meter reading for water and sewer billing. Reviewing and correcting billing reports before they are sent out.

Water service connects, disconnects, and leak checks.

Water and sewer service estimates for new installs. New water and sewer service installs.

Customer service.

Monthly water sampling for coliform and arsenic testing and compliance. Additional less-frequent water sampling for various contaminants and water quality.

Maintaining pumping, treatment, billing, and discharge data for the following:

  • Monthly well meter reading entries on Nevada Division of Water Resources website.
  • Tracking progress for proofs of beneficial use for water rights permits.
  • Calculating non-revenue water and water loss for the community water distribution system and updating the system's water conservation plan with this data.
  • Comparing revenue with costs and determining best rate structure to maintain quality water and sewer service.
  • Completing monthly and quarterly discharge monitoring reports, as required in our discharge permit for the sewage treatment plant.

Goldfield Maintenance


Maintenance and repair for all non-school county buildings and properties, including the park. 

Maintenance and repair of Public Works/Utilities equipment and vehicles.

Supporting Goldfield Utilities in its work.

Cemetery burial services (digging graves). Fees are the following:

  • Urn Fee $150.00
  • Casket Fee $300.00

Silver Peak Utilities/Maintenance

Community water distribution system operation and maintenance (groundwater wells, water storage tank. water transmission line, water mains, service connections, and fire hydrants).

Monthly water meter reading for water billing.

Water service connects, disconnects, and leak checks.

Water service estimates for new installs. New water service installs.

Customer service.

Groundwater well operation and maintenance at the following locations:
  • FLV Community Center
  • FLV Hot Box
  • FLV Park
  • FLV Road Department
Maintaining pumping data for the following:

  • Monthly well meter reading entries on Nevada Division of Water Resources website.
  • Tracking progress for proofs of beneficial use for water rights permits.
Maintenance and repair for all non-school county buildings and properties in Fish Lake Valley.

Maintenance and repair of Public Works/Utilities equipment and vehicles.
