Important Notice - Effective March 15th and April 1st, 2010
The 26th Special Session of the Nevada State Legislature enacted changes in the fees that this office charges.

General Recording Fees:
**First Page  $14.00
    Each Additional Page  $1.00
    Multi Title Document . . . First Page  $17.00
**Notice of Default Document . . . First Page  $64.00
      $214.00 effective 4/1/2010
    Each Additional Page  $1.00

**Recording stamp must be placed at the top of the first page on all documents (approx. 3" x 3"). Document size 8 1/2" x 11". An additional fee of $25.00 for recording will be applied to any document that does not meet the standards set forth in subsection 3 of NRS 247.110.

Declaration of value forms must accompany all deeds transferring ownership of real property (Inc. water rights & standing timber) R.P.T.T. is $1.95 for each $500.00 consideration

All mining maps must be reproducible & plotted on 24 x 36 mylar or 8 1/2 x 14 paper & scale of not less than 500 feet to the inch (need one orginal map and one copy).

Included in the above fees to be collected are the fees established pursuant to Senate Bill 11 from the Special Legislative Session of 2001 which amended NRS 247.305

*The above fees do not apply to the Recordation of Marriage Certificates*

Payment
Payment must be made in accordance with NRS 247.330 (see below). We accept personal check, cashier check or money order made payable to Esmeralda County Recorder, or cash.

NRS 247.330 Fees payable in advance. A county recorder shall not record any document, furnish any copies or render any other service connected with office, until the fees for the services, as prescribed by law, are paid or tendered.
